Terms of Service
These terms cover website design engagements booked through sitewright.org. By purchasing a package or working with us, you agree to them.
What we deliver
We design and build the website described in your chosen package (Starter, Business, or Growth) or custom proposal, and any add-ons you purchase. Scope, page count, and included features are as listed on the Pricing section of this site or in your written proposal.
Pricing and payment
- Pricing is flat-rate, not hourly — you're quoted a fixed price before work begins.
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Half is due to start the project; the remaining half is due once you're happy with the finished site, before final launch.
- Growth plan subscribers are billed $49/month for ongoing updates and maintenance, cancelable anytime.
Timelines
Typical delivery is around one week for a Starter site, longer for Business and Growth builds depending on scope and how quickly we receive your content (text, photos, logo). Delays in providing content will delay launch.
Revisions and satisfaction
We work with you through drafts until you're satisfied before requesting final payment. Reasonable revisions during the build are included; requests that significantly expand the agreed scope may require an updated quote.
Domains and third-party services
If you need a new domain, we'll help you register and connect it, but the domain itself is registered in your name with your chosen registrar — you own it. Hosting, forms, and other third-party services used to run your site are subject to those providers' own terms.
Cancellation
You can cancel before work begins for a full refund of any deposit. Once design or development work has started, deposits cover the work completed and are non-refundable; Growth plan monthly service can be canceled anytime with no further charges.
Limitation of liability
We aim for your site to work well and show up on Google, but we can't guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, or sales outcomes, since those depend on many factors outside our control.
